Description

Into the Woods, with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and a book by James Lapine, debuted in 1986. The musical combines the stories of Cinderella, Jack and the Beanstalk, Little Red Riding Hood, and Rapunzel, among others, into a single narrative that examines the complexities of desire and the pursuit of happiness.
