Berkeley Playhouse

PAYMENT PLANS

All families have the option to pay in three installments at checkout. A deposit of ⅓ of the program cost is required at registration time, followed by two predetermined installment dates.

The installment dates for Winter/Spring Classes are January 31 and February 28. If a date has passed, the system will add these installments to your deposit at time of registration.

 

FINANCIAL AID

Financial Aid Applications are due by December 15, 2025.

Financial Aid Applicants: Please select the "Pay in full" option. You will be given the option to pay in installments when you receive your financial aid offer.

 

REFUND POLICY

If you need to cancel your order, you may request to do so three weeks before your class start date (or earlier) for a full refund minus a $50 cancellation fee. For example, for a class that starts on January 19, the last date to request a refund (minus $50 cancellation fee) is December 29. No refunds will be given after three weeks before the program start date.

Class Descriptions

Pinocchio

Journey into the whimsical world of Pinocchio, a wooden puppet with big dreams whose wish to be real is granted. Students will rehearse songs and scenes inspired by Pinocchio's adventures as they bring this timeless story to life—no strings attached! At the end of the class session, students will showcase a performance of their learnings for invited guests.

Pippin

Discover your “extraordinary” in this class inspired by the musical Pippin, which follows a performance troupe's telling of a young prince who searches for their meaning in life. Students will rehearse songs and scenes exploring Pippin’s quest for purpose and passion—all with a touch of circus magic! At the end of the class session, students will showcase a performance of their learnings for invited guests.

Triple Threat

Students will explore what it takes to be a “triple threat”—a performer who can act, sing, and dance! Teachings throughout the class session will include monologue and group work, vocal lessons, and learning choreography. At the end of the class session, students will perform a curated selection of songs and scenes, showcasing their vocal, acting, and dancing skills for invited guests.
